course of African Percussion


Percussionist and drummer, he learned to play through the african method of oral transmission, the art of Djembe’ and of the low drums with professional musicians from “Ballets Africaines” and “Merveille de Guinee”.

He devoted himself to the teaching of the percussions, and he started to play during afro dance lessons of Momoudou Djan Camarà, Solò Dienaba Diedhiou, Mack M’Baye, Francesca Saloni and Denise Galassi.
His main experiences were the collaboration with Famoudou Konate, with John de Leo with Matteo Belli, with Bevano Est group, and last but not least the one with the Orchestra d’Archi of Bruno Maderna music academy of Cesena sponsored by JCE.

He participated to a lot of festivals in Italy but also abroad (Saalfelden Jazz festival in Austria and the Teatro Graf at Bonn in Germany). He played in the international music festival “Mama Africa” next to Sidiki Camarà and Babarà Bangoura.
